Biocos – Coconut oil (Cold-pressed fresh coconut)

Organic, Soil association certificate. Origin: Sri Lanka. Contains at least 50% Laurin acid.

This coconut oil is pressed not from a dried but fresh coconut, so it does not have a strong coconut smell, almost odorless. However, it is believed that unrefined cold-pressed oil from fresh coconut retains more useful material than the one of dried coconut.

Coconut oil contains no less than 50% Laurin acid, which is found in breast milk. Laurin acid strenthens immunity. Studies have shown that Laurin acid is an effective fight against viruses: HIV, herpes, influenza, and some bacteria in the body: h. pylori, Giardia lamblia.

Coconut oil is suitable for skin care because helps to maintain skin elasticity, avoid stretch marks or wrinkles. Coconut oil is excellent moisturizer for dehydrated body skin; it also restores dehydrated hair, softens, nourishes and returns natural shine.

Unrefined coconut oil is a gentle and natural protection from sun up to 2 SPF.

It is suitable for cooking.

IMPORTANT. Unrefined coconut oil is usually solid in consistency and becomes liquid at 24 ° C, but it does not affect the oil properties. Oil thickens again in the fridge.

Coconut oil in cosmetics

Coconut oil is used as body moisturizer: apply a small amount of coconut oil on your hands to warm it, apply all over the body, including face. Oil can be used to moisten babies’ skin, décolletage area, make-up treatment, moisturize skin around eyes.

Hair mask: spread the oil over the entire length of the hair, gently massage into the scalp. Keep the hair mask for 30-60 minutes and wash hair with normal shampoo.

Hair tip reconstructor: warm a small amount of coconut oil in hands and easily moisten dry or damp hair tips, do not wash it.
